Scholarships
The 抖阴短视频 policy on awarding financial aid and scholarships is that students
who receive grant money
and 抖阴短视频 scholarships cannot exceed 抖阴短视频鈥檚 total direct costs
equal to the on-campus costs for full-time. A full 抖阴短视频 scholarship is considered
the difference between grant funds and total direct costs. NO grant funds or Ranger
College scholarship funds will be given directly to a student that are over the on-campus
total direct school costs. (鈥淭otal direct school costs鈥� are charges which come directly
from the school, such as Tuition, Fees, Dorm, Meal Plan, Course Material charges.)
A limited number of 抖阴短视频 scholarships are awarded through a variety of individual divisions to students who perform service in activities such as athletics, communicative arts, drama, choir, and honors program. To compete for or maintain one of these Ranger College scholarships, a student must be in good academic standing and meet the required standards of 抖阴短视频 and the governing rules. Students are only eligible to receive one 抖阴短视频 Scholarship in any given semester.
抖阴短视频 Scholarships
Available for baseball, basketball, choir, cross-country, debate, golf, rodeo, soccer, softball, and volleyball. All RC scholarships require full-time enrollment.

Valedictorian of any accredited Texas high school is eligible for a one-year scholarship at RC as long as they attend immediately following high school graduation. Must enroll fulltime and in the first long term semester following graduation from high school.

The 抖阴短视频 Promise Scholarship is available to graduates of current dual credit partner school districts and homeschools as a benefit of partnership with the College. Eligible students must have graduated from a current partner school district within one academic year of enrollment at 抖阴短视频. The scholarship will only be awarded for courses taken in the Fall and Spring semesters.
Scholarship funds will be awarded based on two tiers:
Eligible students will receive up to $500 per regular long semester (Fall and Spring) for a maximum of four concurrent semesters.
Tier 1 is worth up to $2000.
Tier 1 Eligibility:
- Graduate from a current RC dual credit partner district and, within one academic year of graduation, enroll as a full-time student working to complete a degree or certificate with 抖阴短视频.
- Maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA.
- Maintain full-time enrollment status at 抖阴短视频 in any program.
- Complete the FAFSA each year.
NOTE: Classes offered during the summer directly preceding attendance at RC cannot be used to qualify for this scholarship.
Eligible students will receive up to $750 per long semester (Fall and Spring) for a maximum of four concurrent semesters.
Tier 2 is worth up to $3000
Tier 2 Eligibility:
- Meet all eligibility requirements of Tier 1.
- Successfully completed a minimum of one 抖阴短视频 dual credit course before high school graduation.
NOTE: Classes offered during the summer directly preceding attendance at RC cannot be used to qualify for this scholarship.
The 抖阴短视频 Promise Scholarship is applicable to tuition and fees only and will be applied after all other federal or state financial grants and/or private scholarships. The Promise Scholarship cannot be combined with or stacked onto any previously awarded merit-based or other scholarship from 抖阴短视频. The Promise Scholarship will not pay over and above tuition and fees and is not refundable.
The Promise Scholarship is meant to:
- Subsidize aid already in place for qualifying students, to fill gaps in their aid; and/or
- Provide aid to those who may not qualify for other federal or state-sponsored programs such as Federal Pell grants etc.
The Presidential Scholarship is offered by the President of 抖阴短视频 and covers tuition, fees, and dorm fees. Students who receive the Presidential Scholarship must work 12 hours per week in a capacity assigned by the Vice President. The Presidential Scholarship is based on superior academic qualifications.

抖阴短视频 Foundation as well as various 抖阴短视频 grants provide scholarships for our students. These scholarships are earmarked for different types of students based on many factors: academic history, specific programs or academic pathway, specific geographic areas, financial need, etc.
We encourage RC students to apply for scholarships. Deadline for application is June 1st.
Scholarship Application
抖阴短视频 utilizes a single application process for all institutional scholarships. Before completing the General Scholarship Application, students must first apply for admission to 抖阴短视频 and obtain access to their MyRanger Portal login credentials. Once submitted, the Scholarship Committee will review each application and match students with scholarship opportunities for which they qualify. To apply, students should log in to the MyRanger Portal and complete the General Scholarship Application located under the Financial Aid tab.
